Our
final meeting for Term 2 will be held on Wednesday
24 June from 9.00 – 9.45 am in R14.
Erik
du Toit, a PhD student at Canterbury University, will be talking to our group
about his research. Erik is investigating
how parents’ home literacy beliefs and practices affect the English reading
development of their children. Some of
our Oaklands parents have joined his study, but he is keen to include more
people in his research group. So please
come along on Wednesday 24th. Preschool children are welcome to come with you.
