There is a great radio station - Plains FM 96.9 - which you might be interested in listening to. It shares the interests and views of the many different communities of Canterbury. It is Canterbury's only community access station where the community creates radio programmes for broadcast and as podcasts in their own way and in their language of choice! You can hear and enjoy news, music and cultural programmes in various languages eg Samoan, Irish, Filipino, Japanese, Indonesian, Chinese and Vietnamese.
